a great chipolte sauce that I got off a epicurean.com

This sauce is a replica from taco bueno(if you are from the northern part of Texas... you know this place).

1/3 cup sour cream preferably reduced-fat

3 tbsp. mayo

2 tbsp. lime juice

1 tbsp. canned chipolte chiles( freeze the rest for later so you don't waste)

2 cloves of garlic

1/2 tsp. chili powder

combine all the ingredients in a food processor or a blender until smooth. the sauce will thicken as it stands and will keep for 2-3 weeks in the fridge. It is amazing on fish tacos or chicken!!

  1. Just fyi.. instead of sour cream. I used greek yogart.. cuts out some of the fat and calories! And, there is always great coupons for greek yogart! So, its a win, win!!!
