I made homemade chocolate chip cookies, but I am going to make this easy for everyone wanting or needing to make a quick desert. These would be so great to take to take to the kids class!
If you don't want to make your own cookie recipe...
Buy a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough. Make round cookies or, take a heart shaped cookie cutter and make the cookies into hearts. Cook the dough according to the directions. for the best outcome make sure that you cook the dough on parchment paper. Once the cookies are done let sit for 5 min.and then place on a cooling rack for 10min.
In the meantime take a pkg.of melting chocolate(I get the ones that you can do in the microwave. It really makes for easier clean up). Melt the chocolate according to the directions. A great hint here... place in the microwave for one min.-then stir-then stir every 15 sec. there after until melted. This way you do not burn the chocolate.
Dip the cookies into the chocolate 1/2 way and place on parchment paper until cooled. Once you get to a point to where you can no longer dip, take a fork, place in the chocolate and drizzle of the cookies.
If you really want to get fancy...
Once the chocolate has cooled on parchment paper, take and do the same thing in white chocolate. Now you have a double dipped cookie!
Sooo easy! Happy Valentines day baking y'all!
