The great thing about cooking is that it is not an exact science you can mix it up each and every time. remember the crab stuffed mushrooms that I made earlier this week???? Well, I kept the stems that I hollowed out of the mushrooms and waaaallllllaaa... I diced them up and put them in this dish!!!! Waste not, want not... Is that how that saying goes? haha well you get my drift(and the drift from this dish will make you a winner at Thanksgiving)!
This total dish Cost about 3.00 and it will serve 4 so a great side dish for a great price!
Great recipe! I'll certainly have to try this out! And, I love that it's gluten-free!:)
ReplyDeleteI love making this dish, nice to see it on a blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen. It is one of my fav.s! And soo easy and delicious. Plus, there are so many ways you can switch it up!
ReplyDeleteIm not very Gluten-free knowledgable BUT.. tonight or tomorrow I will post a great chicken, cabbage, veggie soup and I believe that it just might be gluten-free! I need to follow you so I can get better well versed in this area. The only info. I get on the subject is from Elizabeth Hasselbeck on the view... lol, that sounds bad... :(
