Non-Fried onion rings

I got this recipe from Bobby Deen and I LOVE it!
1/4 cup of all purpose flour(I used wondera)
2 teaspoons of creole seasoning(divided)(I added a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder as well)
2 egg whites
2 cups of panko bread crumbs
1 sweet onion
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray(I placed on a baking cooling rack over a baking sheet so the onion rings would be sure to be extra crispy).
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and 1/2 of your seasoning mixture. In a second small bowl, lightly beat the egg whites. In a third small bowl mix the panko bread crumbs and the rest of the seasoning.
Cut the onion into 1/2 inch slices and separate into rings.
dredge each ring into the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, then the bread crumb mixture and place on the baking sheet(or cooling rack)
bake on each side for 6-8 min. per side and waaalllaaahh!
They taste just like as if they were fried!
